CTTM wins Independent Specialist Care Awards

CTTM were announced as the winners of the 2012 Independent Specialist Care Awards for Services to Autism. The awards ceremony held in March at the London Marriott, was hosted by Ruby Wax and recognised leading practitioners in specialist areas of the care sector. CTTM were thrilled to be honoured with this award in recognition of their commitment to providing the very best in services for our vulnerable citizens.

CTTM service users join staff on their training and gain their own qualifications!

Service users of CTTM will now be joining their staff team on First Aid training and receive their Emergency First Aid qualification and certificate.   This is part of CTTM’s new commitment to providing employment opportunities and employability skills to our service users on their Vocational Educational and Employment pathways.

CTTM finalists in Autism Spectrum Services in Independent Specialist Care Awards

CTTM are pleased to announce we are finalists in the Autism Spectrum Services category in the Laing and Buisson Independent Specialist Care Awards 2012. Winners will be announced in March 2012.

Care Through The Millennium shortlisted for Best Employer by Skills for Care

CTTM are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted as one of the top three companies nationally and are finalists in the Skills for Care Accolades Awards. The winner of the award will be announced at an awards ceremony held in March 2012. The Awards board stated that “We received an excellent standard of nominations this year and the fact that CTTM has been shortlisted reflects the high quality workforce development practice they have”.

The Pines receives the equivelent of the 3 star rating from CQC

Congratualtions to Helen Brooks and her team at The Pines who received an outstanding report from CQC who were particularly impressed with our commitment to choice and empowerment of our service users.

Helen Jones wins Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Helen Jones of The Pines who won this months Employee of the Month and will receive vouchers for 150 pounds. Helen has been a dedicated member of staff since she started with us in 2006 and has progressed to Deputy Manager. Her manager Helen Brooks nominated Helen for her continuing outstanding support and caring attitude towards service users. Congratualtions to Helen!

Winners of Omega Training Services Learner of the Year

Congratulations to CTTM staff member Taylor Capewell who was awarded Learner of the Year 2011 by Omega Training. In addition to this excellent achievement Anne Tibbs was awarded second place as well as colleagues Natalie Allinson and Dianna Robbins also being nominated. Many congratulations to all four staff members for their success!

CTTM clients to fly on first biofuel flight

CTTM clients will receive special VIP treatment on 6th October as they fly out for their holidays on the first ever flight to use biofuel.

CTTM Summer fete raises money to donate to charity

CTTM held a Summer fete in August where all service users created and managed their own summer fete stall. We had everything from apple bobbing to a Soak the Manager stall and raised 100 pounds for Support Dogs. Support Dogs is a UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with epilepsy, physical disabilities and autism by training dogs to act as efficient and safe assistants. We are thrilled to have raised so much money for such a worthy charity and to have had so much fun doing it!
