Due to our continued expansion, we currently have exciting opportunities for Support Workers who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs in Kings Norton, Birmingham.
Working nights an average of 42 hours per week on a flexible shift system the successful Support Worker will support the learning and mental health needs of the service user group and enable individuals to lead a meaningful and worthwhile life within the community giving practical help, care, guidance and support as detailed within the service user’s individual care plans and risk assessments.
Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a residential care setting with vulnerable people and hold NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent. However, applications from candidates with no experience who can demonstrate the caring qualities and values that we seek in our staff will be considered.
